A team-mate of United midfielder Zenon Caravella during his time at FC Omniworld, Bas was recommended to Miron Bleiberg as a player who would fit in well with the rigours of the Hyundai A-League. Tall, strong and experienced, he will add even more steel to the United rearguard and brings with him the added quality of being comfortable in a number of positions. Having learned his trade in the technically excellent Dutch leagues, Bas is well equipped to make a significant impact in the Hyundai A-League. |
