Kristian Rees
"A City Stands United"
|
PLAYER PROFILE |
A Premiership winner with Adelaide United in the opening season of the Hyundai A-League and a Runner-Up the following season, Rees was also a member of the first Adelaide squad to make an incursion into the Asian Champions League. The solid and reliable defender shifted to Wellington Phoenix for the 2007/08 season but could not agree on terms to extend his stay in New Zealand. Tall, tough and experienced, Rees will provide both steel and stealth in the heart of the United rearguard and was one of the first players indentified by Head Coach Miron Bleiberg as being essential to the defensive set-up. |
