Michael Thwaite
"A City Stands United"
|
PLAYER PROFILE |
After stints with Norway’s SK Brann, Wisla Krakow in Poland and FC National in Romania, Michael spent his first year back in Australia on loan at Melbourne Victory from Brann. His form for Ernie Merrick’s side prompted Miron Bleiberg to open negotiations with Brann with a view to a permanent transfer and the lure of the Gold Coast and his home state proved strong for the Qantas Socceroo. Capped at every senior level by the Socceroos, he was part of the squad that famously defeated Uruguay to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. A quality performer, Michael will look to continue his international career in the Gold Coast United colours. |
