Neil McCoy
DIRECTOR FINANCIAL OPERATIONS
Mr McCoy has a Bachelor of Business from Deakin University majoring in Accounting. He is a member of CPA Australia, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the National Institute of Accountants.
Mr McCoy has many years of experience in the Property, Building, Construction, Mining and Finance Sectors, having a number of years with Pasminco (now Zinifex) in Tasmania, and BHP Billiton in Moranbah and Brisbane. He has extensive experience in accounting systems and processes, having been involved in a number of major system implementations, including SAP.He has served on a number of back bench government committees in Victoria, and was a member of the committee that wrote the first Australian Insurance Act, that was enacted in 1976. Neil has also lectured in Accounting, Investments and Economics in Victoria, and has also presented at a CPA Congress, on Accounting Processes in the Insurance Industry.
Neil has strong links to the Mining Industry with a Mining Engineer daughter, and Geologist son-in-law. In his leisure time Neil is actively involved in Community work, assisting less fortunate people through the Lions Club, and teaching basketball at the junior and elite levels.
